The History of Eprespark
Eprespark is a unique destination in Vecsés, where three worlds meet: refined hospitality, experience-driven events, and carefully cultivated tranquility.
Our goal is not merely to operate a hotel, but to create a space of experience — a place where it feels good to arrive, easy to unwind, and where every guest is treated as a true guest.
Our hotel offers spacious, minimalist rooms for business travelers, couples, and families alike. Our event house adapts seamlessly to a wide variety of occasions — from weddings and corporate events to private celebrations. And at Epres72 Bistro, we ensure every meal is memorable, serving modern dishes prepared with quality ingredients and genuine care.
We are close to Budapest and the airport, yet far from everything you’re happy to leave behind.
This is Eprespark — where peace of mind comes standard.
The building of our hotel was once home to the Vecsés Agricultural Association (Gazdakör) and has a history stretching back more than a century.
The Gazdakör, which functioned as an association for local farmers until the end of World War II, was founded by Imre Róder in 1904. It grew out of a reading circle established by the former schoolteacher. Its members were primarily Swabian (ethnic German) farmers. The original building was constructed with contributions from the local community around the turn of the century. It was later expanded and renovated in 1941.
The Gazdakör building was once a vibrant hub of community life in Vecsés. Originally, it featured its own wine bar, pub counter, a large hall, and a smaller room. In addition to the reading circle, the farmers organized agricultural training courses and various cultural gatherings. Over time, the building also hosted balls and weddings, becoming a key location for social life in the town.
